Minelab's Multiple Frequency Full Band Spectrum (FBS) technology is the only technology in the world that provides the serious treasure hunter with both deep detection and deep precision discrimination, regardless of ground conditions and target type. Serious detectorists understand that every outing is a unique moment in time that needs to be enjoyed and maximised. Minelab's Explorer Professional detector will handle varying conditions with maximum results! Explorer's FBS technology automatically transmits28 multiple frequencies simultaneously from 1.5kHz to 100kHz. The lower the frequency used by a detector, the deeper it can penetrate. At low frequencies however, the sensitivity to small targets is sometimes reduced. The higher the frequency, the higher the sensitivity to small targets, but higher frequencies will not penetrate the ground as deeply. The increased frequency range of the Explorer SE Professional means more sensitive and accurate target identification at greater depths. FBS technology also improves the detector's ability to cancel ground mineralisation. Ground Balancing is automatic, so whatever the field conditions, the Explorer Professional maximises depth, sensitivity and discrimination. Features:
ACCESSORIES 8 Inch Explorer Coil The 8 inch Explorer coil is great for detecting areas of high rubbish content. If two or more targets are located under a coil at once, the discrimination can sometimes be effected. By using a smaller, more precise coil like the 8" coil, you are able to pick up individual targets and accurate identification of each one separately. The 8 inch coil is very lightweight and ideal for searching around hard-to-get-at locations.
Alkaline Battery Pack The Explorer Alkaline Battery Pack holds 8 x AA Alkaline batteries. Useful as a spare battery pack; keep it in the glove box so that if your rechargeable battery gets low, you can continue detecting all day long. (Note: Batteries not included)
Explorer Hood The Explorer Hood provides protection from the elements, so you can go detecting in all weather conditions! Velcro is used to ensure a snug fit, giving protection against light rain, dust and minor bumps and scratches.
Explorer NiMH Battery Suitable for all Explorer detectors. The NiMH battery pack provides you with a rechargeable battery system that gives you better power and longer battery life. Note: Available as either a 1600 m/amp or 1800m/amp (which offers up to 15% more battery life).
